Volleyball Recap: Lee's Summit West Find Success

Lee's Summit West won the last time they faced Belton and things went their way on Saturday too. Lee's Summit West came out on top against Belton by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Titans.

Trystan Edwards paced Lee's Summit West's offense, picking up four kills. Edwards got some help from Kolby Drinnen and his 16 assists. Drinnen was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Lee's Summit West's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Belton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-1 record this season.

Lee's Summit West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Northland Christian on the 29th. As for Belton, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Lee's Summit North on the 29th.
