Soccer Recap: Evergreen Valley Comes Up Short

Evergreen Valley managed to keep up with Santa Teresa until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Evergreen Valley Cougars lost 5-1 to the Santa Teresa Saints. The Cougars have struggled against the Saints recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Evergreen Valley's goal came courtesy of Kyle Han, which was the first he's scored this season.

Evergreen Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Santa Teresa, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-5.

Evergreen Valley will head out to challenge Gilroy at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for Santa Teresa, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Gunderson at 7:00 p.m.
