Volleyball Recap: Linden Makes It Four in a Row at Home + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Linden walked away with it. They came out on top against the Amador Buffaloes by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2017.

Linden had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 28-26, 25-21.

Katie Schallberger paced Linden's offense, picking up 18 kills. Schallberger got some help from Allie Kehoe and her 18 assists. Finally, Mylie Dondero kept Linden's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Linden pushed their record up to 16-11 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Amador, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season.

Linden will challenge Sutter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Amador does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
