Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Immanuel). Their pitcher stepped up to hand Central Valley Christian a 24-0 shutout on Tuesday. Amanda Herrera was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Herrera was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Addison Efird was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalia Delgadillo, who went 4-for-5 with five runs and one stolen base.
