Baseball Game Preview: LaPoynor Flyers vs. Mildred Eagles

For the second straight game, LaPoynor will face off against Mildred. The Flyers will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. LaPoynor's hitters has struggled lately (they haven't scored a run in three consecutive games), something the team is no doubt ready to change.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for LaPoynor's offense. They lost 15-0 to Mildred on Tuesday.

LaPoynor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colt Rogers, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

LaPoynor now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Mildred, the win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 11-5.
