Baseball Recap: Kempsville Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Kempsville's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Ocean Lakes Dolphins on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Chiefs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kempsville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Ocean Lakes, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

Looking ahead, Kempsville will head out on the road to challenge Hickory at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ocean Lakes, they will welcome Norview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dolphins are facing the Pilots at the right time seeing as the Pilots are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
