Baseball Recap: Oak Ridge Takes a Loss

Scott City hit Oak Ridge with a five-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Blue Jays lost 12-3 to the Rams. The Blue Jays haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Oak Ridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Borgfield, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Oak Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Scott City, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-2.

Looking ahead, Oak Ridge will face off against Leopold at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Scott City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
