Basketball Recap: Sussex Central Comes Up Short

Sussex Central lost against Windsor back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sussex Central Tigers lost 35-15 to the Windsor Dukes.

Sussex Central dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Windsor, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Sussex Central Tigers challenge the Surry County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Windsor has already played their next game (against Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
