Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountainside). Their defense stepped up to hand the Aloha Warriors a 7-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for Mountainside, who have now won five matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Mountainside's third in a row) raised their record to 8-5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matches. As for Aloha, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11-1.

Mountainside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aloha, they have already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against Jesuit on the 23rd.
