Soccer Recap: Brackenridge Takes a Loss

Brackenridge lost against Jefferson back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brackenridge Eagles fell just short of the Jefferson Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brackenridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4-1 record this season.

Looking ahead, Brackenridge will challenge Seguin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seguin will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Brackenridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Jefferson, they will take on Sam Houston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Sam Houston: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Jefferson has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
