Football Recap: Leyden Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Leyden's offense. They were beaten by the York Dukes 56-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Dukes are ranked 14th).

This is the second loss in a row for Leyden and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for York, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Leyden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-0 win against Proviso East on the 26th. As for York, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 34-11 victory against Oak Park-River Forest on the 26th.
