Softball Recap: Flint Hill Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Flint Hill's offense. They came up short against the Paul VI Panthers on Thursday, falling 14-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the 6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.

Flint Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jane Stanley, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Flint Hill and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Paul VI, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11.

Flint Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paul VI, they are taking a road trip to challenge St. John's at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cadets have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season.
