 Northland Prep Academy is 7-0 against Phoenix Christian since March of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Northland Prep Academy Spartans will be playing at home against the Phoenix Christian Cougars at 3:45  p.m. Northland Prep Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.8  runs per game this season.
 After soaring to 19  runs the game before, Northland Prep Academy was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Thursday. Their  rough  20-1 loss to Horizon Honors  might stick with them for a while. Northland Prep Academy has struggled against Horizon Honors recently, as their  match on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Northland Prep Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Isabel Stoffers, who  went 1-for-2 with  an  RBI.

Meanwhile,  Van Metre   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Van Sant has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Van Sant  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3, while  Van Metre  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Madison Shores and  Brianna Guerrero did most of the damage at the plate:  Shores  went 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and five  RBI, while  Guerrero  went 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hannah Fisher, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases.
 Northland Prep Academy now  has a losing record at 2-3. As for Phoenix Christian, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4-1.
