Volleyball Recap: Bella Vista Takes a Loss

Bella Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Rio Americano Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 17-25, 25-16.

Adam Wixom was the offensive standout of the match as he had 14 assists and ten digs.

Bella Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Rio Americano, they moved to 11-14 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Bella Vista will face off against Inderkum at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rio Americano, they will challenge Vacaville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
