Volleyball Game Preview: Perry Commodores vs. Elgin Comets

The Perry Commodores will challenge the Elgin Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Perry: they have been struggling with eight straight losses at home, while Elgin has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.

Perry lost 3-0 to Ridgemont on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

If Upper Scioto Valley wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Elgin, they should've done a better job of containing Jocelyn Wall. The Comets put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Wall, who had 13 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8, 25-10.

Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.
