Pebble Hills had lost five games at home, but after bumping their record up to 14-20 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Franklin Cougars with a sharp 17-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-7 on April 2nd.

Pebble Hills let Riley Cassiday and Syan Saldana run wild. Cassiday got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Saldana went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Isabel Ramos was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Pebble Hills hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 10-5 when they post two or more strikeouts.

As for Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-21-1 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

On Franklin's side, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariana Carrera, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Pebble Hills has already played their next match, a 16-4 defeat against Eastlake on the 21st. Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
