Basketball Recap: Chapelgate Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Mason Plater and Bryson Milledge

Chapelgate Christian Academy lost against St. Paul back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Paul's Crusaders. The Yellowjackets just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Chapelgate Christian Academy had strong showings from Bryson Milledge, who posted ten points and three steals, and Mason Plater, who scored eight points in addition to five boards and three steals. That's the most steals Plater has posted since back in December of 2024.

Chapelgate Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for St. Paul's, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Chapelgate Christian Academy will take on St. John's Catholic Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chapelgate Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.5 points per game this season. As for St. Paul's, they will challenge Concordia Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Paul's is facing Concordia Prep at the right time seeing as Concordia Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
