Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Belle Jordan and Chelsey Cate Lead North Idaho Christian to Victory

North Idaho Christian won the last time they faced Pullman Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The North Idaho Christian Royals walked away with a 58-47 victory over the Pullman Christian Sharks.

Leading North Idaho Christian to victory were Chelsey Cate and Belle Jordan. Cate dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards, while Jordan went 7 for 17 en route to 20 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Cate is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Madison Salaiz, who posted seven points.

North Idaho Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Pullman Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, North Idaho Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Oaks Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Idaho Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season. Pullman Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
