Basketball Game Preview: Burbank Titans vs. West Campus Warriors

The Burbank Titans will face off against the West Campus Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Burbank will head into Friday's matchup after some sweet revenge against Valley: Burbank made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Valley, but still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went Burbank's way against Valley on Friday as Burbank made off with a 45-20 victory.

Burbank's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aniyah Bufford, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Daejahmonni Tagger, who put up nine points.

Meanwhile, West Campus had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed by the Royals to the tune of 77-32. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Royals are ranked 1136th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

West Campus pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points per game. As for Burbank, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
