Basketball Recap: River Ridge Comes Up Short

River Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 77-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Creekview Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 67-52 loss back in January.

River Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Creekview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-15.

River Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Creekview, they will face off against Woodstock at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Creekview knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Woodstock likes a good challenge.
