Recap: Naugatuck Greyhounds vs. Darien Blue Wave
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Naugatuck Greyhounds can now relate to. They received a tough blow on Tuesday as they fell 42-28 to the Blue Wave. Naugatuck's loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Although Naugatuck took the loss, they still got scores from Jett Hall, Ethan Jones, and Ryan Deitelbaum.
Naugatuck's loss dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Darien, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Naugatuck does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Darien is on the road again on Sunday and play against Newtown at 12:30 p.m. on December 3rd. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Newtown: 17.4, Darien: 15.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
