Basketball Game Preview: Amherst Falcons vs. Bonduel Bears

Amherst is 2-8 against Bonduel since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Amherst Falcons will look to defend their home court against the Bonduel Bears at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Amherst came up short against Weyauwega-Fremont and fell 65-52. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bonduel put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Wittenberg-Birnamwood 69-49. Fans of the Bears have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Amherst now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Bonduel, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.

Amherst suffered a grim 68-45 defeat to Bonduel when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Amherst avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
