Volleyball Recap: Cate Rogers' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Circle over Beloit

Circle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Beloit Trojans. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Circle lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cate Rogers, who had 14 assists and six digs. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Circle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Beloit, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Circle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Concordia on the 13th. As for Beloit, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Smoky Valley on the 13th.
