Basketball Game Preview: Amboy Clippers vs. Morrison Mustangs

The Amboy Clippers will square off against the Morrison Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Amboy has five straight victories, Morrison has 21 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Tuesday, Amboy was fully in charge, breezing past Milledgeville 54-15. That 39 point margin sets a new team best for the Clippers this season.

Meanwhile, Morrison played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Eastland, falling 61-30. The Mustangs were down 52-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Morrison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Amboy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
