Volleyball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Living Rock Academy Bobcat, falling 3-0. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcat apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Legacy Christian Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Living Rock Academy's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 26-24.

Legacy Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Living Rock Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gloria Deo Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Living Rock Academy, they will host First Baptist Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
