Basketball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Pleasant Tigers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 62-46 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Mt. Pleasant, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Princeton will face off against Prosper at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Pleasant, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mt. Pleasant Tigers face off against the Lufkin Panthers at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Pleasant has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three matchups.
