Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Gibbs couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 63-62 to the Stranahan Mighty Dragons. The Gladiators' loss signaled the end of their 20-game winning streak.

Several Gladiators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacob Daniels, who went 7-for-16 en route to 19 points in addition to five assists and five boards. What's more, Daniels posted two blocks, the most he's had since back in January. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Medina, who shot 60% from the field to rack up 16 points and five rebounds.

Gibbs' defeat dropped their record down to 27-5. As for Stranahan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Gibbs nor Stranahan have any future games scheduled.
