Volleyball Recap: Compton Comes Up Short

Compton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jackrabbits this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-10, 25-10.

Compton's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Long Beach Poly, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Compton will square off against Woodrow Wilson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Long Beach Poly, they will challenge Sunny Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
