Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jaeden Waters and Sean Kinney Lead Bear River to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Truckee, Bear River was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Union Mine Diamondbacks as they made off with a 30-8 win. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Diamondbacks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Sean Kinney and Jaeden Waters. Kinney rushed for 85 yards and two scores while Waters rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown.

Bear River now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Union Mine, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Bear River has already played their next game, a 19-12 win against Golden Sierra on the 12th. As for Union Mine, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Liberty Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
