Baseball Recap: Lowellville Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lowellville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past the Garfield G-Men 13-12. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 12-0 victory the G-Men walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Liam Bartlett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Likens, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

Lowellville's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Garfield, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-9.

Lowellville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-3 defeat against McDonald on the 19th. As for Garfield, they have also already played their next match, a 6-1 victory against Champion on the 19th.
