Stanley-Boyd is 0-5 against Bloomer since June of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Orioles will head out to square off against the Blackhawks at 5:00 p.m. Stanley-Boyd is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Stanley-Boyd didn't have quite enough to beat Thorp and fell 4-3.

Caitlen Ketterhagen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Stanley-Boyd saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelly Lew, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Bloomer got the win against Regis on Tuesday by a conclusive 25-7. The Blackhawks haven't had any issues with the Ramblers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Bloomer now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Stanley-Boyd, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-2.

Stanley-Boyd couldn't quite get it done against Bloomer in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-4. Can the Orioles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
