After a string of four wins, Richardson's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hockaday Daisies.

Mackenzie Ratcliff paced Richardson's offense, picking up ten kills. Ratcliff got some help from Mariajose Cordero and her eight assists.

Leading Hockaday to victory were Emily Boomstra and Avery Park. Boomstra had 13 digs and two aces, while Park had 14 assists and four digs. That's the most aces Boomstra has posted over her last ten matches.

Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Hockaday, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richardson will head out to square off against Coppell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hockaday, they will venture away from home to take on Ursuline Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
