Football Recap: Sherburne-Earlville Takes a Loss

Sherburne-Earlville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Weedsport Wolverines at home by a 29-12 margin. The Timberwolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in October of 2018.

Sherburne-Earlville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Weedsport, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sherburne-Earlville will host Birdlebough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Weedsport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Adirondack at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
