Softball Recap: Harvard Takes a Loss

Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Marengo Indians. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Harvard's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Marengo, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-7.

Harvard has already played their next contest, a 7-5 win against Dundee-Crown on the 10th. As for Marengo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Prairie Ridge on the 10th.
