Basketball Recap: Rush Springs Takes a Loss

If Rush Springs was riding high fresh off their 71-28 takedown of Temple last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rush Springs Redskins came up short against the Sterling Tigers on Friday, falling 49-27. The Redskins have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Rush Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Sterling, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.

Rush Springs will take on Corn Bible Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sterling, they will head out to face off against Big Pasture at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sterling is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.
