Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Ascent Classical Academy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Sedgwick County Cougars on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Guardians' defeat signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Ascent Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Sedgwick County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
