Soccer Recap: Benet Academy Wins Going Away Against Plainfield Central

It's playoff time, and Benet Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Plainfield Central Wildcats on Tuesday. Ashley Polanco had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Benet Academy.

The win made it two in a row for Benet Academy and bumps their season record up to 13-6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matches. As for Plainfield Central, they moved to 15-4-4 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Benet Academy will head out on the road to take on Metea Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Plainfield Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
