Football Game Preview: Grand Street Campus Wolves vs. Columbus Sharks

The Grand Street Campus Wolves will head out to square off against the Columbus Sharks on Sunday.

On Saturday, Grand Street Campus ended up a good deal behind Jamaica and lost 24-8. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Columbus earned a 22-12 victory over KIPP NYC College Prep on Saturday.

A big part of Columbus' win came down to the chemistry between Jayden Hogu and his top target Marcus Harris. Hogu rushed for 56 yards on only five carries while Harris rushed for 68 yards and one TD. Micheal Hogu did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 86 receiving yards.

Columbus' victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Grand Street Campus, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Grand Street Campus against Columbus when the teams last played back in November of 2018, as the squad secured a 50-8 win. In that contest, the Wolves amassed a halftime lead of 28-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Sunday.
