Soccer Recap: Ashland's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Ashland kept a clean sheet against Sandusky on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Blue Streaks. Fans of Ashland have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Their offense was hitting Sandusky from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kaden Howman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

The win (which was Ashland's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three games. As for Sandusky, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Ashland will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. Brunswick's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sandusky, they will head out to face off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Sandusky's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
