Volleyball Game Preview: Florida Christian Patriots vs. Riviera Prep Bulldogs

Florida Christian hasn't had much luck against Riviera Prep recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Patriots will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Florida Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to True North Classical Academy.

While Florida Christian ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Riviera Prep came up short against True North Classical Academy on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: True North Classical Academy scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 24-26, 25-20.

Florida Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Riviera Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 14-12.

Florida Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Riviera Prep in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
