It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tri-County had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the West Central Trojans 12-4. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Madilyn Nevitt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tri-County got a massive performance out of Grace Luck, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those two triples gave Luck a new career-high. Bella Dominguez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Tri-County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Central only posted an OBP of .294.
