Basketball Recap: Prairie Takes a Loss

Prairie won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They lost 60-38 to the Ames Little Cyclones. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Prairie fell to 5-1. As for Ames, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Prairie will take on Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ames, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 64-44 win against Urbandale on the 6th.
