Baseball Game Preview: Northwest Christian Crusaders vs. Seton Catholic Sentinels

The Northwest Christian Crusaders will head out to face off against the Seton Catholic Sentinels at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwest Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

Northwest Christian's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over Payson. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Seton Catholic fell victim to Valley Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Sentinels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Northwest Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Seton Catholic, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-6.

Northwest Christian suffered a grim 14-0 defeat to Seton Catholic when the teams last played back in February of 2017. Can Northwest Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
