Basketball Game Preview: Fenton Tigers vs. Northville Mustangs

The Fenton Tigers will head out to take on the Northville Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fenton is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Fenton is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Hartland on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Fenton came up short against Hartland, falling 63-37. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northville lost to Dearborn on the road by a 62-48 margin on Sunday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Pioneers are ranked 23rd).

Fenton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Northville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
