Football Recap: Delaware County Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against Pequea Valley

Delaware County Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 22-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pequea Valley Braves on Friday. While the Knights had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Braves 6-0.

Although Delaware County Christian took the loss, they still got scores from Daniel Bartkow and Ian Pruessner.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delaware County Christian will head out to square off against Archbishop Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pequea Valley, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Thomas A. Edison at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
