Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask First Baptist Christian). They put the hurt on the St. Thomas Episcopal Saints with a sharp 63-42 win on Friday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Illyria Scott was the offensive standout of the match as she went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc on her way to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Rachel Froedge, who posted ten points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

The victory (which was First Baptist Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for St. Thomas Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

First Baptist Christian will welcome St. Francis Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Thomas Episcopal, they will take on Rosehill Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
