Softball Recap: North Sanpete Takes a Loss

North Sanpete's last matchup with Payson could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Hawks came up short against the Lions, falling 14-4. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by exactly ten runs.

Rylee Stewart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

North Sanpete's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Payson, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

North Sanpete didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-1 defeat against Spanish Fork on the 12th. As for Payson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-1 win against Alta on the 12th.
