Pendleton Heights never let their opponents score on Saturday. They came out on top against the DeKalb Barons by a score of 5-0. The win was familiar territory for the Arabians, who have now won three games in a row.

Colin Axel-Adams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Rylan Keesling was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Mazon Saxon was another key player, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Pendleton Heights' record is now 17-9. As for DeKalb, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Pendleton Heights will take on Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Indians have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for DeKalb, they will challenge Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Barons 2.9, the Saints 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
