Softball Recap: Minster Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Minster entered their tilt with Lima Central Catholic on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Thunderbirds. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Lauren Tyler, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reece Albers, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Minster's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Lima Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minster will welcome Shawnee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lima Central Catholic, they will take on Lima Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
