Softball Recap: Atascadero Takes a Loss

Atascadero fell victim to Pioneer Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 12, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Atascadero's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Pioneer Valley, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atascadero will venture away from home to challenge Cabrillo at 4:30 p.m. on the 25th. As for Pioneer Valley, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Templeton at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
